SOTW5: The Home Stretch
Hi all and welcome back to the latest edition of Stories of The Week! Week 12 offered yet another week of balancing regular marketing/design work with packing up shop – the home stretch in preparation for our big move on Tuesday.
We’ll kick things off with a little reminiscing; moving really does conjure up some fun old projects, each with their own design style fitting of the time in which they were developed. Up top is a throwback three-wing folder AddMore, then BoAndersen Communications, put together for The Belgian Tourist Bureau here in Denmark. The folder featured a number of suggestions for an “active holiday” in Belgium – everything from golf and gourmet dinners, midnight running, mounting climbing and bike rides, to hiking, art and culture along the river banks.
And now back to present times... In terms of content creation we kicked off the week with an interesting working session; brochures, case stories, content strategies and the like, all lined up for the coming weeks post-office move and Easter.
In the design studio our guys were knee deep in (moving) boxes but still managed to cook up a few different things. We put together a couple of new print ads for our glazier client, like the one up above - the ads are running on the front page of a Copenhagen Weekend Newspaper, and were shared as jpg’s on Facebook too, garnering quick interest in the comment sections.
Additionally, the team worked on preliminary stand designs for the upcoming Labelexpo Americas 2018 – a bi-annual event and the printing industry's largest trade show on US soil.
SOTW5 is a short one as I still need to wrap up the last few projects and boxes before quittin’ time – roughly two hours from now. Have a great weekend, everyone! We’ll see you next week for an Easter special, mid-week story time.
